¬¬Super Nintendo Entertainment System or Super NES is a legacy video game console developed by Nintendo, the company known for its hi-fi video game consoles such as Wii, DS, DS Lite and much more. Super Nintendo Entertainment System works on the 16 bit processing and renders high quality graphics and audio. It incorporates powerful CPU, video processing unit and sound co-processors to deliver an astonishing gaming experience. The main CPU a Nintendo-custom 5A22 processor based on a 16-bit 65c816 core. The video processing unit, also known as the Picture Processing Unit or PPU consists of two separate ICs that are tied together to form a single entity, just as the dual core processors. The PPU also has a 64kb of VRAM that helps it to render quality pixels in least possible time. For producing real time sound, one 8-bit Sony SPC700, a 16-bit DSP and 64 kB of SRAM are integrated. Apart from this, to deliver glitch free operation an additional 128kb of DRAM is also infused on to the main board of the console. The look and feel of the ¬¬Super Nintendo Entertainment System is just like the legacy gaming consoles and it ahs dual controller ports which enable two-player gaming. Primarily all the models of the console are in grey color, although the shades are different.
