Game Boy Micro is a handheld gaming device developed and manufactured by the world’s leading gaming organization Nintendo. It is basically a second redesign of the Game Boy Advanced which was developed by the same company. This time the key factor was sleek design and portability. Functionally, the Game Boy Micro is not too much different than the Game Boy Advance SP, but yes it features more impressive looks and feel. Overall you will get an upgraded form factor and refreshing style to show off. The Game Boy Micro is compatible with all the Game Boy Advance games. You can freely use the Game Boy Advance video cartridges with it but it does not support the original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. Coming to the technical specifications the Game Boy micro is powered via a 32-bit 16.8 MHz ARM processor which is the key contributor in delivering a pleasant gaming experience. The screen measures 2 inches (240×160 pixels), which is backlit and has the capability to adjust the brightness as per the lighting conditions. Powered by built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Nintendo Game Boy Micro can run up to 5 hours in a single battery charge if the brightness and the sound are set on top, but if both of them are set on default the Game Boy Micro can offer additional 3 hours of juice, i.e. total 8 hours. This device also supports standard headphones.
