The Microsoft Xbox 360 Core System is an entry level gaming console which can play a variety of high end games. It does not unveil the full powers of Xbox. It only provides the features which are just sufficient for basic gaming. The Xbox 360 Core system comes with a single wired controller and a composite A/V cable. You will not get wireless controllers, a composite/component A/V cable (thus you cannot connect the core system to a HDTV), Ethernet cable and Xbox live headset. The Hard disk is also not there in the core console. So, you won’t be able to save your games and multimedia data. You can play games, listen to music and watch movies via CDs and DVDs. The Xbox core is powered by a processor having 3 cores (each running at 3.2 GHz), a 512 MBGDDR3 SDRAM and 1MB cache memory offering you high quality graphics and precision game play. The acoustic processing power is also nice (16 bit surround sound) which produces life like sound effects. Xbox 360 Core system is meant for those who want to enjoy high end gaming without burning a hole in their pocket.
