By Luke • Mar 13th, 2009 • Category: Mobile PhonesNokia E90 is the latest addition to the E series of Nokia phones. It’s a sophisticated communicator which may look just like any other Nokia communicator but the reality is it is much more powerful and versatile than its predecessors. It’s a perfect combination of elegance, style and functionality and lives up to the expectations of every professional. E90 has got the same bar type form factor but packs lots of upgrades. The major selling point of this one is that it’s the first Nokia communicator which boasts of a fully functional ‘External Phone’ with a 16million color display offering a resolution of 240×320 pixels.
If you are not doing some business work, taking down notes, or doing some other extended activities then the outer shell of the E90 is more than enough to handle all your work. The rear panel features a 3.2 megapixel Auto-Focus camera and two speakers on the top. As soon as you flip up the Nokia E90 Communicator mobile phone you will notice its internal 800 x 352 pixels display capable of showing 16m colours. Apart from this there is a full QWERTY keyboard with functional keys and nav pad. This makes the communicator look like a miniature laptop. On both sides of the internal display there are two pairs of keys along with a secondary video call camera underneath.
The E90 keeps you connected all the time. It’s a 3G-enabled GSM Quad-band phone that is much more powerful and versatile than the hi-fi PDAs available in the market. The communicator runs on a Symbian V9.2 S60 3rd edition UI and is powered via 330 MHz ARM processor. As expected from a Nokia communicator, the E90 offers all the popular options to connect to wired and wireless networks for enhanced communication and file sharing.
